Eternals and Post-Credits Stingers

On this episode of The Hollywood Outsider podcast, we discuss the concept of movie stingers, those post-credits scenes so many Marvel films love to throw at us these days. A stinger is typically short clip that appears after all or some of the closing credits have rolled and sometimes a movie has seemingly ended. But is this trend getting a bit tired? Or has it become a movie necessity? Also, AfterCredits.com is a great tool for determining which films have stingers attached, per Troy’s recommendation in this episode.

Also this week: our news round-up touches on the loss of Dean Stockwell and Disney’s IMAX-enhanced Marvel films for Disney+, reviews of The Feast and Clerk, and then a lengthy discussion on Marvel’s latest blockbuster, Eternals.
