New Releases 9/21

This weekend’s new releases:

Dredd 3D – Karl Urban takes the helmet from Stallone as a futuristic lawman who takes the law into his own hands. We all thought it looked goofy, but reviews have been great and are currently at 79% positive.

End of Watch – Cops on a beat filmed documentary style get into tiffs with gang members. 85% positive don’t lie, seems to be an electric and wired cop flick.

Trouble With the Curve – Clint Eastwood stars as an aging baseball scout trying to mend his relationship with his daughter, Amy Adams, while fighting back a rival scout, Justin Timberlake. Clint avoids talking to chairs, but at only 54% positive reviews, this is not the Oscar bait everyone thought it would be.

House at the End of the Street – Hunger Games’ Jennifer Lawrence stars as a girl who befriends a neighbor guy with one of those deep dark secrets. Reviews are all negative currently. As much as we want to see it, we can’t recommend it if people aren’t liking it. Take your chances.
