Box Office Weekend Sep 7-9

The worst weekend at the box office since 2008.  WOW.  That just sucks.  Honestly, where we normally go into this film and that film, not this weekend.  Obviously you didn’t care, so why should we, ha.  Suffice it to say, The Words opened awfully with only $5m and The Cold Light of Day opened in 12th with $1.8m.  The best per screen average was from Raiders of the Lost Ark, which brought in $1.7m from only 200+ theaters and barely any marketing push.  Looks like there is time to love Dr. Jones after all.

Next week should brighten up with Finding Nemo 3D and Resident Evil Retribution all land.  Listen to Ep 58 for more details…
