Interview with 3rd Street Blackout Directors Negin Farsad and Jeremy Redleaf

3rd Street Blackout follows Negin Farsad and Jeremy Redleaf as Mina and Rudy, a quirky couple caught in a New York City blackout right at the cusp of the first test to their relationship. Co-starring Ed Weeks and Janeane Garofalo, the film follows the couple as they seek to right the wrongs of their relationship without the benefits of modern technology.

Take as listen as Aaron sits down for a fun interview with the multitaskers of 3rd Street Blackout, actors/writers/directors Negin Farsad and Jeremy Redleaf, to discuss what went into making their film, and why this was a story that they had to tell.

3rd Street Blackout releases to Digital HD and OnDemand July 5, 2016. Find out more information by visiting 3rdStBlackout.com

Mina and Rudy are that couple: adorable, but not obnoxious.  Intellectual, but not condescending.  Busy, but still have time to post on Instagram.  Yet sometimes, like so many other technology-obsessed couples, this duo can’t take their eyes off their screens.

3rd Street Blackout is a dark comedy – literally – that follows Mina and Rudy in the days after Hurricane Sandy left large parts of New York City without power.  In this analogue world, their flaws are exposed, their commitment challenged and their mettle tested.
