After a ghost sighting in Manhattan, paranormal scientists Abby Yates and Erin Gilbert (Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig) are brought together to channel their efforts to defeat an incoming supernatural invasion. With the help of Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon), a quirky engineer with a mind for ghostly gadgets, and Patty Tolan (Leslie Jones), a local subway worker and amateur historian, the ladies set off to take on something far more sinister than anything they could have imagined.
Ghostbusters has officially hit movie screens for a 2016 reboot directed by Paul Feig and starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth as Kevin.
